Utilizing industry leading HTML5 and CSS3 code along with PHP, MySQL and jQuery, Idextrus developed an application that acts just like an iOS app but with the added benefit of working on other mobile platforms such as Android and Blackberry. It also works perfectly well on modern desktop browsers.
Sales reps can quickly select customers, add products to the cart in myriad ways including order number entry, UPC scanner entry, keyword searches and catalog browsing. A microcart displayed on all pages at all times allows the sales rep to know not only how many items and what the current cart total is, but also what the last item added was.
The shopping cart is completely modifiable and the sales reps can add notes to individual products, override pricing, change quantity and remove items, all powered by client-side Ajax for instant app like performance.
